OpenHAUS is founded on the premise that architecture is a tool for thinking and a media for communication.
Our view is that architecture is not just about the built work but that architecture is everything about building
- writing on building, drawings and representations, architectural projects both real and unrealised and the
conversations and types of communications that surround the act of building.
OpenHAUS is a multidisciplinary practice connected through architecture.
We aim to engage and connect the architectural academy, institutional bodies,
professional practice and the public in new and innovative ways.
By exploring possibilities for wider engagement with these entities (through built form,
exhibition, writing and other design based practices) OpenHAUS is interested in expanding
the field of architectural practice.
The OpenHAUS network currently comprises OpenHAUS Architecture, OpenHAUS Exhibitions and OpenHAUS Content.
